Obsessions
My friend Lisa tagged me to post about my Obsessions. I’ve stalled for several days, but now I’m going to try to come up with a list of five things I obsess about.
1. The internet - Yeah, it was her first choice,too. We have that in common. I frequently spend the entire day in front of my monitor. I blog, I read other peoples’ blogs, I visit message boards. I don’t have much life outside the house just lately.
2. Reading - I’ve been in a bit of a slump lately, but my norm is to read at least three or four books a week. If I get into a reading frenzy I someitmes read several a day for days on end.
3. My dogs - Hey - I’m locked inside all day every day with them, the computer and my books. I worry about them constantly. Lance has a congenital heart defect and Buddy is quite old and failing. Lance sleeps with me and gets perky the minute I start moving around, but I have to check Buddy each morning because he’s usually still sleeping when I start moving around. I hold my breath as I watch him for signs of breathing before I’m able to go into the kitchen and start my coffee.
4. Computer games - For when I’ve read all of the books, blogs and message boards, of course.
5. Clutter - I’m a procrastinator, but the clutter is constantly on my mind and I’m going to defeat it … someday.
Now it’s my turn to tag five others to tell me about their own obsessions. I like to check with folks first and make sure they want to play, so I’ll edit this after I have five rounded up.
Alrighty then! J.E and Drew want to play, and I just remembered that Denise got her feelings hurt because I didn’t name her last time I did a meme, lol.
Off ot stalk two more victims! Ah! My friend Elizabeth just volunteered! Waiting to hear back from one more!

But I’ll post my obsessions in a bit anyway. Wait, what if I don’t have any obsessions? Oh well, I will make some up. Blogging is perfect for making stuff up! hahaha

I’m still trying to figure out how to define “obsessions”. Would that just be things I really, really like? Or things that I can’t stop thinking about, that I worry about to the point of obsession? Hmmm…
