Self Portrait Sunday
Have you ever tried to take a self-portrait while maintaining control over a dog covered with shampoo? I think I deserve a medal! I tried, honestly. I tried to get a little more distance so you could see a broader view of both of us. I just know you wanted to see the look of sheer joy on Lance’s pretty mug. And you’d have been thrilled to be able to see that my arms and soaked shirt are plastered with fuzzy shampoo.
Some things just aren’t meant to be.
Sorry to be so tardy once again. The alternative was to take another picture in my jammies. The same jammies I was wearing in a self-portrait a few weeks ago. I’d have hated for y’all to think that I’m defiecient in the pajama wardrobe department, so I had to wait until a few minor chores were out of the way and I could drape myself in other attire. Maybe next Saturday night I’ll remember to put on the rubber duckie pajamas.

It’s impressive that you managed to take that picture at all! I’d have gotten my camera soaked and soapy too! It’s a great picture!

amazing u could do it while at the same time bathing ur dog..nice pic too.. if i was bathing my dogs, i have to concentrate holding on to them cos they will take the chance to run away if they could..

I bathe my dogs in the tub with the shower doors closed and can take pics of them through it.
Otherwise, it would be difficult indeed!

Jennifer, I took a whole mess of pictures of the back of my head, the sky, my feet … before I finally got one that showed half of my face and called it good enough, lol!

I have a secret, Khaikhee! I had him hooked to a short leash wound around the pickets for the deck rail. I usually do it that way, but still have to keep one hand on them at all times to keep them for squirming so much I can’t bathe them, lol!

Cynthia, I bathe them in the shower if it’s cool outside, but usually it’s warm and they don’t get a chill from bathing in the sun.
