I’m a Thinking Blogger!
Wow! I’m either brilliant or very, very approachable. Today I’ve been tagged by Lisa and Deb with a Thinking Blogger Award! They both had sweet and wonderful things to say about me, and now I get to do the same thing for some of my favorite Thinking Bloggers!
These are the rules for this one:
1. If, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think.
2. Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme.
3. Optional: Proudly display the Thinking Blogger Award
Since I was tagged twice, and since I’m blessed to be surrounded by Thinking Bloggers, I’ve tagged five bloggers for each of my tags. Here are some of the Thinking Bloggers I admire:
Denise is my first and still foremost mentor. She not only does a lot of thinking herself, she insists on making everyone around her use their own brains. I avoid her when I’m feeling stubbornly stupid, but I know that she’s good for me.
TW, who is a goddess and is constantly teaching me things that I didn’t know I needed to know.
Marcus came up with the idea of hosting live blogger chats that bring us together weekly with people who can teach us how to be better at what we do.
Cass is yet another mentor and didn’t even slap me down the night I had a total meltdown in frustration over some techie things with my blog.
Tricia, with whom I had another meltdown, knows everything there is to know about making my blog behave.
Beth stepped forward and designed the “Stop Cyber Bullying” green ribbon badge. Beth, do you have a code for that so we can all put it into our sidebars?
Leigh, whose puppy makes me giggle, blows me away with her straightforward opinions on her new blog.
Mr. Fab, who is going to run away from home and live with me in paradise (and who also happens to be a very cerebral fellow who makes me think.)
Joanna, who is newer to my blogging circle, has impressed me greatly with her lucid writing and thoughtful ideas. Yep, she’s a thinker, too.
And finally, an honorable mention to Whim, one of the most brilliant writers I’ve ever known, a survivor, a poet, a friend. She’s already got a Thinking Blogger Award or I’d be giving her one right now. If she wants a second one, I’ll give it to her. That’s how worthy she is!

Whim, just because I think doesn’t mean I’ve suddenly become a techie. I don’t know how to paste an image in my sidebar, but will do it as soone as someone gives me a code, lol!

That is a great appreciation post. I agree that it is so important to have a good network of mentors to learn from so many great minds and then to be able to build on that to achieve your goals. I have felt an immense amount of growth thanks to my mentor.

Cade, I’ve truely been blessed to be surrounded by so many who are not only brilliant, they’re generous with their knowledge and their time. Their influence makes me stretch and grow on a daily basis.

Yes, darling Fabulous one. You may fool some with your bluster and badness, but I’ve seen the brilliance that shines through your crusty facade. Besides, you’ll be getting all that free stuff and I needed to remind you of how valuable my friendship is before the hoards of greedy wannabes start staking their claims on the goodies. :0D
