Tuesday Teaser Winner!
Here is your photographic proof. The contest piece was cut from the photo above.
Kitty correctly guessed that the teaser was taken from a photo of a dog lead with a swivel bolt snap. Swivel bolt snaps have other uses, but dog leads are probably the most visible and well-known. Kitty, your name goes into the drawing for a gift card from Starbucks or Amazon (winner’s choice.) The drawing will be held at the end of May from among all May winners. I’d like to try to face the challange of finding and creating the puzle photos on my own for a now, but I might open this up to a differnt format somewhere down the road. A meme with many people creating puzzle photos each week could be fun, too!

This is one of those cases where I knew what it was, but I couldn’t think of what it would be called..just the swivel bolt snap part. Turns out that would be because I never *knew* what it was called, LOL!
When I was a kid National Geographic’s World Magazine had a “What in the World” feature that was similar to this - lots of fun!

I had to look up the proper name of it in a hardware catalog, H8. I’d probably have called it something like “the kind of clip used on some dog leads” if I hadn’t been able to find it, lol!
It is fun. I just hope I can find additional photos that will make good puzzles.
