Self Portrait Sunday for July 8, 2007

    With my constant companion

I can’t move around the house without Lance being underfoot. He trips me several times a week in his eagerness to be wherever I am. When I sit on the couch, he’s either resting his chin on my feet or, more often, on my chest. He looks into my eyes soulfully, either trying to discern my deepest thoughts or trying to get me to discern his (which generally center around food.) I tried to watch a little TV today and he kept getting right in my face, sniffing my breath to see what I’ve eaten lately, licking my chin and just generally wanting lots of attention. Until I picked up the camera, which is apparently a monster threatening great danger to us both. Oh, well, maybe I’ll catch him next time he falls alseep with his face tucked under my chin,

You can see who my friends are hanging out with today over at Digi-Cass, where all the cool people hang out.

    1. now that’s love.

    2. I am worshipped and adored, Em! I’ll take that assurance in whatever form it takes. :D

    3. I know a lot of people are skeptical about growing mints because of their reputation for being invasive, but I love my spearmint! I’d like to get some chocolate mint as well. As long as I keep a close eye on it, it’s not all that hard to keep under control.

      Yours looks really GOOD!

    4. I’m really pleased with my mind, Kylee. My mom used to curse it for growing so wildly, but the tropical sun burns it easily, so I had a hard time getting it started. I’m thinking I need more varieties, too! :)

    5. Awww…

    6. Mint is one of my favourite plants despite its enthusiasm.

    7. Lance is certainly your treasure! I can relate. I have my own Kimmie with me here at home. :)

    8. That’s a great picture… his lack of cooperation just make him mysterious ;)

    9. Aww, that’s an awesome pic. I’m almost positive you love him as much as he loves you!
