Skeet's Stuff

August 16, 2007

Well! I’m feeling special today!

I was asked a few days ago to participate in a blog interview. This morning I was notified today that my interview was being featured at Blog interviewer.com today.

This is a very cool way to tell folks what you’re about and to interest new readers. And should I mention there is the possibility of prizes? Yeah, I should! Prizes are awarded each month for the three blogs getting the most votes. The prizes are $50, $35, and $15, so even third place is none too shabby. Consider this my blatant begging for your votes. Click the link above or the one in my right sidebar and tell the world how wonderufl I am. :D

Now I know you all want to know how you can be featured, too. They came to me, but if they haven’t discovered your fabulous blog yet, that’s okay! Just mosey on over there and submit an interview telling them all about you and your blog. If you know another blog they should feature, you can also suggest a blog. Hm! Wonder if that’s how they found me? Does anyone want to fess up to submitting Skeet’s Stuff as a good read? I really appreciate you, whoever you are!

I’ve found several blogs over there that I had to bookmark right away. I even stayed up late last night playing games at one of the places I found. Blog interviewer.com is a great way to scan though a lot of blogs in one place and find new ones to add to your daily reads. Go check them out. And don’t forget to vote for me while you’re there! Mahalo, y’all!

  1. I voted for ya! (When I tried to leave a comment over there I got an error message that said “This Account Has Exceeded Its CPU Quota.” I think the vote still counts though!)

  2. Wow I’m “intelligent, educated, literate and open-minded”. I voted but not just because you think so highly of me:-)

Good for you Skeet. You do have a great blog.

  3. Voted! Skeet for PREZ! I didn’t realize you were in the pest control business, I had you figured for a college prof. or something along those lines. I have to tell you my most embarrassing pest control story (doesn’t everyone have one?) The problem is, I get these brain farts every so often, I know exactly what I want to say, but something entirely different comes out of my mouth! One of our rent houses recently came up with a termite swarm, so I called the exterminator and I tell him; “I need you to go over to my rent house, it has a turnip infestation.” Silence. Then, ” Pardon mam?” And I tell him AGAIN, ” I have a TURNIP infestation…in my rent house.” The guy says, “Yeah, the turnips are really bad this year.”
    Hope you’re staying safe! Jo

  4. Do you have to register to vote?

  5. Lee, there was a problem with CPU usage, but it’s intermittent. You can vote each day & come tell me if it works or not! :D

  6. I think very highly of you Vanda. Smart people vote for Skeet - does that sound like a good campaign slogan? :D

  7. Oh, Jo, that turnip/termite story is so funny and sound just like something I would do if I was tired or distracted, lol! Mahalo for the vote!

  8. No registration required to vote Bluest. Mahalo for your interest!

  9. Cheers to you for getting selected! I gave you a thumbs up. Hope you win the prize, and thanks for letting me know about this site and the contest.

  10. Hello,

I’m Mike from BlogInterviewer.com . In response to the CPU usage problem, we’re having a server issue…should be resolved by the end of today.

No need to register to vote. You can vote every 24 hours.

If you have any more questions don’t hesitate to stop on by.

  11. Mahalo, Eric. I appreciate your vote! :D

  12. Mahalo for stopping by Mike. It must be really frustrating dealing with CPU issues. Hope you get it worked out soon. I’d be pulling my hair out by now, I’m sure!
