Self Portrait Sunday for October 7, 2007
I’ve been feeling like a shadow of myself just lately. Blogging has become such a huge part of my life that I’ve felt as if I was totally out of order when I couldn’t do it. You might as well split me right down the middle and toss the pieces in the ocean rather than take away my blog - it’s that vital to my existence these days. If RoadRunner doesn’t finish getting me back in shape soon I’ll think I’ll go totally insane. I’d like to say I have faith in their tech wizards, but they haven’t exactly inspired confidence during my recent crisis.
The good news is that I’m back, though moving rather slowly. The other good news is that I picked up my new glasses yesterday. Oh, I know you don’t see much difference, but the world is much brighter from my side of the lenses. The old prescription had me squinting and going through contortions in order to read, so I’m very pleased to say that my world is back in focus now.

And yay for new glasses!! I need to at least get new lenses in mine… they’ve been scratched since they kittens got ahold of them when they were, well, kittens. And since they are a year and a half old now… yeah…

Jennifer, you’d have seen golden arches if I’d taken my photo from the front of th eplace instead of the post office behind it.
I’ve been using clip-on sunglasses ever since I lost my magnetic ones. They have little clips on each corner of the lense & the plastic sleeves for them wore off, causing the metal clips to scratch my lenses. I’m seeing much more clearly with the new ones.
