Wave of Light
Surely there can be no pain that compares to that which accompanies the loss of a child. I don’t think it’s possible for those of us who haven’t experienced it to even begin to comprehend, but we can all offer our support. Please consider lighting a candle Monday evening at seven. Pause for a moment of remembrance of little ones lost as we send a rolling wave of love and compassion to all who have suffered this terrible grief.
Mahalo to Lisa for letting us all know.

This is a beautiful way to remember the souls borrowed from heavens that made us overjoyed with happiness to receive and very sad to return at the same time.
Nonetheless, they are in a better place, definitely.

Thanks for posting Skeet. I’ve stolen your text and your Flickr image and cross-posted at my place. Let me know if that’s a problem.

It’s a small thing to do, Imran - the lighting of a candle. Still, it symbolizes our empathy for those who ache with loss.
And, yes - they’re in a better place, though no one wanted them to leave so soon.

The image is not mine, Lee - it’s for everyone to use so that as many people as possible will know to light a candle tonight. I’m glad you’re joining in and spreading the word.
