I found yoyu oveer there and friended you, Val. As to the feed, way down on the left sidebar of your page is an edit feed button. I entered my url/feed and it shows my last five post right there. :D

Hm! I'll put some more thought into this later, Jessica (workday to finish first.) You're doing the right things to get your name and your blog out there. We just need a little strategizing so folks won't immediately assume that it's a commercial site. How adverse would you be to changing the name to something more bloggish? Jessica's Super-Secret Ticket Tips? Jessica's TicketStrategies? Something to personalize it a bit more? Maybe just add a tagline to the title? "I don't sell tickets, but I know how to get 'em!" Have a contest! Ask readers to help you out, prize for the best answer or just draw one from a hat. Post the contest link everywhere! People love prizes, even a small gift card or inexpensive book.

It's way too early for you to get disouraged. It usually takes months of posting to start seeing real traffic.

Here's something you can do right now. Go to Bloggers R Us. That's a bunch of my friends, all experienced bloggers, who share info about making your blog better, monetizing your blog and such. Tell them I sent you and ask them the same things you asked me. They're an amazing resource for honing your blog into the best that it can be!

Gotta write a report. More later!

Skeet:

Need some advice. You have been gretat to me over the past few days.

I have been trying to meet new people. Read new blogs, and comment where I see fit.

I always try to add to the conversation.
I always use Jessica as my name - not "keywords"
I use my personal email
and I use my blogs address.

Now your first impression of me and my site was that it was "commercial." I have gotten that few times this week.

I do not sell ANYTHING on my site. I would eventually like to put adsense up, or sponsors.

People keep saying my site is NOT a blog. Or that is is to sell product.

Any advice on how to get folks to feel like I am a blogger with something to share with the world?

Is it because I have a specific niche? or because my industry is is less than loved?

Would love your wisdom.
