Tuesday Teaser photo verification

Tuesday Teaser photo verification

Please don’t hate me folks! I’m pretty sure most if not all of you have cleaned the grit and lint from your mouse balls at least once. I expected this to be a tough one to solve, but I’m surprised that I’ve stumped you all once again. I’m going to have to start rewarding myself when I do that. Hmmmmmmm, let’s see: okay, I’ll treat myself to some chocolate whenever I’m clever enough to stump you. How’s that? It’s only symbolic, of course, since I indulge in some form of chocolate almost every day, but it’s the thought that counts, right?

As per agreement, the prize from this week remains unclaimed so it will roll over and be added to the prize for next week. Since no one solved the puzzle last week, there are now three blog reviews awaiting next week’s winner. It’s the time of year when so many people think about giving, so maybe whoever wins next week will contirbute one of their prize posts to a holiday giving program or some other worthy charitable cause? Just a thought. :D

  1. OMG!

  2. No forehead-slapping here! None of ours here look like that lol So I don’t feel off for not recognizing it ! :)

  3. OMG, I haven’t seen a roller mouse in like forever but less clean one lol

  4. Ah! I knew it looked familiar. Our mouse is laser, so it’s been a few years since I’ve had to clean one. I knew I would be going ‘duh’ when I finally saw the whole thing.

  5. Dear Skeet,

Please upgrade your mouse. Mouse balls are so 90s. And really, who wants to play with mouse balls anyway? Laser is where it’s at.

    Yours truly,

    ~Tracie

P.S. Do they even make roller ball mice anymore? I haven’t had one in years… I never would have guessed that, lol.

  6. I’ve used an optical mouse for years. I forgot what the inside of a non-optical mouse looked like! LOL

  7. My gosh skeet. I knew that looked eerily familiar! That’s what I get for using a touch-pad almost exclusively for the past few years!

  8. I think you’re the only “doh!” response this week, Jules. How can the folks who followed you NOT be familiar with a mouse, lol? :D

  9. You’ve never had an old-fashioned, plain vanilla mouse, Jade? I know there are a lot of options, but I really expected everyone to recognize this once I posted the picture. Silly me! I need a good lashing with a wet noodle!

  10. I apparently mistook the popularity of my outdated technology, blueyes! My bad! :(

  11. Mahalo for that, ami-chan! I’m feeling like I stepped into the past for my photo this time - I’m glad you at least recognize it! :D

  12. Tracie, go to any CompUSA or other computer store and see what comes standard-issue with PCs. I go into peoples homes and offices every work day and the old-tech mouse like mine is the one I see most frequently. I wasn’t tying to be overly tricky or mess with anyone’s head, promise! :)

  13. At least you have some vague memories, Charlotte! These youngsters seem to think I’ve hauled a puzzle out of the Dark Ages, lol! :D

  14. Apparently you and everyone else, Lee! There are still a lot of desktops around with old-style meeses, you know! :D

  15. I think we all need to chip in and buy miss Skeeterbess a new laser mouse! What say??

  16. ACK! New technology, Jo? I tremble in fear! :D
