Carnival of Aloha
Surf’s up and the ocean is looking stormy today. Fortunately, Sprite over at Homespun Honolulu has just what’s needed to chase the gloom away. She’s invited us all to go on a tour of the islands. The forecasters are probably warning small craft to stay ashore, but our cyber-canoes are unsinkable. Come, you can join us! It’s a carnival by canoe and we’re doing an all-island tour. We’ll re-live Thanksgiving feasts, take a peek at the controversies surrounding Duane “The Dog” Chapman and the Hawaii Superferry and share some stories about the people, places, events and food that make Hawaii our very special paradise. You’re all invited. Grab your paddle and meet me on the beach! We gon talk story, yeah no?

That’s it for sure! We’re gonna talk story quite a bit! There’s a lot of thought-provoking stuff going on so we shouldn’t be short of topics!
Thanks, Skeet, for chiming in!

C’mon over and warm up, Nelle! I’ve been hearing the reports from your part of the country. I think you should just leave until spring.

Sorry I didn’t have time to write about the carnival before I left for work this morning, Evelyn. I’ve got some reports to finish & other catching up to do so it might be tomorrow before I get time to really read the entires, but looks like another great collection!

Not cold at all by most people’s standards, Dragonfly, but I actually had the car heater on briefly when I was on the North Shore this morning. I’ll be wearing long jammies & socks to bed tonight, too. It might get down below 70 degrees F overnight!
