Tuesday Teaser photo verification
I haven’t cleaned my oven since its marathon use at Thanskgiving. I openend it yesterday and was a bit overwhelmed by the mess. Guess I’ll have to do something about that soon. My first impulse, though, was not to clean but to take a picture and blog it. Above is my shame made public. How often do you clean your oven? I live alone and don’t use the oven as much as when I was preparing meals for a family, so it’s not necessary often, but I could certainly do better. There’s some crustiness in there that is probably incenerated pumpkin pie filling and turkey drippings. That would mean that it’s been that way for almost two weeks. Um, yeah, I’ll get to work on that soon!
Congratulations to Val who recognized my oven in the Tuesday Teaser puzzle piece. She’ll get a review of her blog and an entry in the gift card drawing for December. Which reminds me that I’m behind on reviews and still haven’t drawn the November winner yet. Maybe I should catch up on those before I tackle the oven, ya think? 
Mahalo to you all for playing. I’m always amused and intrigued by what other people see in the photo puzzle pieces. It didn’t occur to me that the arch shape this time could be percieved as a section of a cylinder, my foreknowledge having influenced my view. That’s what many of you saw though - a glass, a drain, a can. Guess it just goes to prove that what we see is subject to what we already know. I hope you’ll all return next week to see whatever there is to see!

I wasn’t sure, my first guesses were the same as the others with roaster and part of the stove but since they had already guessed them I thought it might be something similar.
Skeet, imagine if we had a display your oven picture theme. Mine’s dirty too, way overdue!

Oh my goodness, if my oven were as messy as yours is, I would eat off of it! Mine is gross compared to yours, lol. Of course, I have 7 kids, 5 of whom “help” cook, and none of whom help clean.
