Self Portrait Sunday for December 9, 2007
Not a lot of creativity put into my self portrait today. I did put on a smile and try to pretend I’m not exhasusted, for whatever that’s worth. I’m still playing catch-up for what was pretty much a lost week of being stranded at home with no power. I could have accomplished as much if I’d spent Tuesday afternoon through Friday in a Las Vegas hotel. Yesterday and today have been mostly devoted to laundry and cleaning up storm damage outside, with frequent breaks to carry Buddy outside and back in. I’m still not caught up, but I’ve made enough progess to feel like I’m almost back on track. Since I’m taking a break right now I’ll wander over to Digi-Cass to see how some of my blogging buddies are doing today. The afternoon is still young. There’s time for you to smile for the birdie and post your own self portrait, too, then post the link at Cass’s place so we’ll all know to come visit.
Plans for the remainder of the day: a quick trip to the local market (the milk is sour, the bread is stale and the boy wants SantaMom to send macadamia nuts for his stocking,) a wrapping and packaging marathon so I can mail his box tomorrow and whatever household chores I feel motivated to do. Oh, and at some point Ill be visiting Digi-Cass to see how my self portrait pals are doing today. You’re doing better than me… I remembered yesterday evening, but I hadn’t showered or anything. I thought about taking a picture anyways, but decided against it. We just didn’t need to save that for posterity.

That’s what my hair does in humid weather Corrin. I’m way past due for a trim, too, so there’s more to curl.
