Tuesday Teaser photo verification
You probably only use them during the warm summer months, but mosquito coils are a year-round fact of life in Hawaii. I’ve burned at least one a day for the last few weeks since the heavy winter rains started. I try to be diligent about eliminating standing water that will provide them a place to breed. Yesterday I was cleaning my side yard and discovered a flower pot that wasn’t self-draining and had several inches of stagnant water filled with little swimmers in it. Yikes! No wonder I get swarmed every time I go out of doors!
Our last Tuesday Teaser of 2008 ended with no winner, alas! I’ll be conducting a drawing for last monthly winner of the year soon, so watch for that post. Nope, I never would have guessed what that was. I don’t even know if they sell those here in Jersey.
